We run one-day, week and long weekend pottery courses, either non-residential or residential using our fabulous B&B accommodation for those who wish to visit this stunning area which combines beautiful local beaches with the splendid New Forest National Park. Caroline Fawkes is offering courses in handbuilding with Raku firings in her studio in rural southern France, close to the Pont du Gard with rail and low-cost air links from Nîmes and Avignon. Excellent food and interesting excursions. The emphasis is on supporting you to explore your own ceramic projects, whether pottery or sculpture. Groups are small (3-6), so the courses are well adapted to beginners. For those with more experience there is also the option to explore alternative techniques such as naked raku or smoke-firing.
